So, friends, let’s begin today’s exciting blog.

Pros of Tata Punch EV

So friends, first of all, let’s talk about the pros of the Tata Punch EV.

Tata Punch EV Ownership Review

1. Ride Comfort & Suspension

And first I would like to tell you all about the ride comfort of this car. In the past 3 months, I have done 3 trips to Mumbai with this car, and you already know the condition of Mumbai’s roads.

So the suspension of this car was also tested there.

I thought that potholes on the roads and incomplete highways would trouble the suspension of the Tata Punch EV a lot, but we did not see anything like that at all in this car.

Instead, this car was passing over potholes very smoothly and quietly without any noise.

The suspension of this car genuinely feels very premium, and even the high-speed stability of this car is quite good.

2. Real-World Range

So friends, now let’s talk about the range of this car.

If you want to buy this car for daily city use, then a word like range anxiety will not bother you at all. Even if you use the Tata Punch EV for 50 km a day, you can easily use it for a full 5-day working week.

I have personally tested the Tata Punch EV on the highway as well. When I went from Pune to Mumbai, I got a range of 130 km on one side, and even after reaching Mumbai, I still had 25 to 30 km of range left.

I did this run at an average speed of 90 to 100. We also conducted a driving test of this car, where it delivered a range of 258 km in mixed driving conditions.

So overall, the Tata Punch EV is a very good package for daily city use and occasional highway commutes.

3. Features & Technology

So friends, now let’s talk about the features of this car. In terms of features, the Tata Punch EV is completely loaded.

In this, you get twin 10.25-inch displays one for infotainment and one digital instrument cluster. You also get ventilated seats, which will be a very good option for you in heat and humidity.

It also comes with a 360-degree camera, although the camera quality could have been better.

You also get wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a wireless phone charger, and along with that, a 6-speaker sound system.

And India’s most favorite feature a single-pane sunroof is also available in this car.

6 airbags, EBD, and ABS are all standard in this car. Automatic climate control, automatic headlamps, automatic wipers, an electronic parking brake, and many more features are available in the Tata Punch EV.

When I drove this car for the first time, I was quite impressed that such a small EV offers features similar to the Nexon, and all of these features are actually usable in daily life.

4. Driving Modes & Regen Performance

So friends, now let’s talk about its fourth pro. In this car, the combination of driving modes and regen is very usable.

In the Tata Punch EV, you get three driving modes—Eco, City, and Sport.

Eco mode is tuned very well for city driving. If you use it with level 2 regen, it works very efficiently. You can easily drive this mode in traffic, and it will not give you any stress at all.

And if you need power in this car or want to do overtakes, just press the accelerator pedal, and the car will instantly deliver a short burst of power.

In City mode, the power delivery is quite linear, which makes your overall experience very smooth and stress-free. You can use this mode both in the city and on the highway.

After that, the Tata Punch EV also has a Sport mode. If you use it, the car feels very quick.

This car can easily maintain speeds of 100 to 120 on the highway, and if you want to overtake, just press the accelerator pedal without thinking and pass comfortably.

It also offers three regen modes, out of which level 2 is my personal favorite. Overall, the combination of driving modes and regen makes this car very easy and comfortable to drive.

Neutral Points (Could Be Better)

So friends, we have talked about the pros of the Tata Punch EV that I personally liked in these 2000 km.

But now I will tell you about the things in this car that I found neutral, or you can say things that could have been better.

1. Pricing

So friends, the First neutral point of this car is tata punch ev price it is quite expensive.

The car that I used was the top model of the Tata Punch EV, which is the Empowered Plus S Long Range ACFC.

The ex-showroom price of the Tata Punch EV is 14.44 lakh rupees, and if we talk about its on-road price, it will cost you around 15.3 lakh rupees.

According to me, tata punch ev price is a bit on the higher side for this package.

In this same price range, you can get a mid-spec variant of the Creta or Seltos, or you can even go 1 or 2 segments higher and buy the base model of the Harrier, which is a much bigger car.

2. Side Camera Integration

So friends, now let’s talk about the second neutral point of the Tata Punch EV.

The integration of the side camera feed in this car could have been better.

Whenever you turn on any side indicator, the camera feed of that side is displayed on the infotainment screen.

The issue with this is that the camera feed completely blocks the entire screen.

If, like the Curvv or Harrier EV, this feed was shown on the instrument cluster, it would have been more practical.

This is not a very big issue, but because of this, I have missed flyover exits 4 to 5 times.

Cons of Tata Punch EV

So friends, moving beyond the neutral points.

Let’s now talk about the things where the Tata Punch EV caused me some issues in other words, now we are going to discuss the cons of this car.

1. White Upholstery

So friends, the first cons of the Tata Punch EV is its white upholstery.

White seats look classy, but maintaining them becomes equally messy.

It’s true that a white interior gives the entire car a premium feel, but you are definitely going to face a lot of trouble in maintaining it.

This issue is not limited to just the Tata Punch EV but is present in many cars, so it’s not a very big issue but if your car has a white interior, you will face this problem.

2. Technical Glitches

So friends, the second cons of the Tata Punch EV is its technical aspects.

Although this car is quite reliable but sometimes it also has mood swings. The Tata Punch EV has supported me quite well overall and has been quite reliable, but occasionally, some glitches do appear.

For example, even after closing the charging lid, it sometimes shows an error.

The infotainment screen occasionally freezes while driving and then resets itself.

There is sometimes a slight delay in the gear selector, and once, its low-voltage battery got discharged while it was parked in our office basement.

All these issues are minor, but in the long term, they can become irritating.

Final Verdict

So friends, now let’s talk about the verdict of the Tata Punch EV.

After driving it for 2000 km, my verdict is quite simple the Tata Punch EV is a perfect city car. A small car with big confidence.

If you already have a big family car at home, then this can be an ideal second car for you, which you can use daily in the city for things like office runs, school drop-offs, or grocery runs.

In all these scenarios, the Tata Punch EV will be a perfect option for you.

If your daily commute is around 40 to 50 km, then you can charge it just once a week and use it the entire week without any stress.

Now, obviously, no car is perfect. Its interior and upholstery could have been better, and apart from that, it does have small tech glitches from time to time.

But when you drive this car, it feels extremely smooth, comfortable, premium, and stress-free.

Honestly, after driving the Tata Punch EV as much as I have, I would definitely say one thing the best version of the Punch is the Punch EV.

Whether it’s traffic or stop-and-go conditions, this is where an EV truly shines.

No vibration, no noise, and a completely smooth driving experience that makes everyday life easier.
