Introduction
So friends, welcome to today’s new blog.
Today we will talk about some latest car news which has a lot of interesting car news. Like Tata Avianca is going to be launched in India soon which will be the most premium car of the Indian manufacturer.
And China has taken a very interesting action regarding cars which should soon happen in India also.
And Ferrari has revealed the interior of its first EV Ferrari Luce which is quite interesting. And apart from this, a lot of other news is also coming out, so without wasting time let’s start today’s blog.
Mercedes Reveals the 2026 S-Class
So friends, the first news is coming from Mercedes in which Mercedes has revealed its new 2026 S Class which has a lot of technical updates and changes.
First of all, if we come to the exterior, then some changes can be seen in it. For example, the grill in the center has become 20% bigger.
Also, the star top on its bonnet has also been illuminated. Three pointed star DRLs are available in its headlight setup.
The throw of which has also been increased by 40%. And like the front, three pointed star lighting is also available in the rear.
Apart from that, the design language and body style etc. look the same as the previous S Class.
The new S Class gets overall 10 cameras, 5 radars and 12 ultrasonic sensors which are only for its advanced ADAS.
But brother, the thing which is a little disappointing for me personally is its interior which looks less like an interior and more like a gadget hub.
Meaning screens everywhere.
We get seven screens in its interior. One on the driver’s side, one in the center, one on the passenger side, then two at the back for infotainment and then two in the rear center console slash arm rest.
Meaning brother, it looks less like a car and more like a toy. Take a look at the interior of the previous S Class and now take a look at this one.
By the way, we get an almost identical interior in Mercedes’ EQS as well. So what’s the difference between the S Class and the EQS, brother?
Talking about the engine, in the new S Class we get a 4-liter flat plane crankshaft V8 engine with 537 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque, which is a very powerful and smooth engine.
And apart from that, if we talk about the price, the company has not revealed its price yet.
Tata Punch EV Facelift
So friends, the next news is coming from Tata that Tata has launched the facelift of its Punch ICE version.
Now it is about the EV which also gets a lot of changes. Same as the ICE version like 10.25 inch touch screen in the interior, digital infotainment, 360° camera, front ventilated seats, ADAS level 2 extra.
There are some changes in the exterior as well as compared to the ICE version. Like different bumper, different alloy wheels and some EV-like features.
But the main difference will be in its powertrain. In the new Punch EV, we will get the option of two expected battery packs.
One is 25 kWh with a range of 265 km, producing 82 horsepower and 114 Nm of torque, and the other is 35 kWh with a range of 365 km, producing 122 horsepower and 190 Nm of torque.
These are expected figures. Actual figures may vary slightly at the time of launch.
Ferrari’s Upcoming Supercars in India
So friends, the next news is coming from Ferrari. Ferrari is going to launch not one but two cars in India this year.
The company has already announced the price of these. Yes, Ferrari has revealed the price before the car.
So that you can get an idea of how much money you will have to spend if you want to buy this car.
1. Ferrari 849 Testarossa
The first car will be the super car Ferrari 849 Testarossa which will be launched in March 2026.
And the price of this car will be Rs 10.37 crore ex-showroom, that too without options.
The Ferrari 849 Testarossa is powered by a 4L V8 engine with a hybrid powertrain that produces a combined output of 1050 horsepower, allowing it to do 0-100 km/h in 2.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 330 km/h.
Upon launch, this car will be Ferrari’s flagship car in India. This means it will be the most expensive car, which will cost around Rs 12 crore on road.
2. Ferrari Amalfi
And if we talk about the second car, it will be Ferrari Amalfi.
This will be Ferrari’s new model car in India, which will cost Rs. 5.59 crore ex-showroom. The launch of this car is expected by mid-2026, which will come as the successor of their Roma car.
Ferrari Amalfi is equipped with a 3.9 L twin turbo V8 engine which produces 640 horsepower. With this, the car can also touch 0-100 in 3.3 seconds. And yes, this is a rear wheel drive coupe super car.
Ferrari Reveals Interior of Its First EV – Ferrari Luce
So friends, now that we are talking about Ferrari, the next news is also coming from Ferrari.
In which Ferrari has revealed the interior of its first electric car Ferrari Luce, which is very interesting. Ferrari Luce will be the first EV of this brand, whose interior has been created by Apple’s designer.
Unlike all modern cars, which have only screens and technology intrusion. Almost everything in this car is mechanical.
Means switches, buttons and toggles etc.
The company has tried to give retro theme interior in Ferrari Luce. Like analog type meter which is actually a screen but the design is quite unique.
The thin grip steering wheel like the one on the Ferrari from the 1950s has all the controls physical.
Almost everything in the center console is controlled by buttons, be it window controls, hazard button or gear selector.
Yes, there is definitely a 10-inch screen in the center whose buttons are also actually physical. Because nowadays people need half of the screen for entertainment purposes.
Apart from that, its launch control and the rest of the headlights controls are also in the form of physical buttons on the roof, which is quite cool.
Meaning, at first glance, its interior might seem a bit simulator type in which people play simulation games etc.
But actually it is quite unique and interesting. Now all that remains is to see how the car looks and how it makes Ferrari.
China Bans Electric Flush Door Handles
So friends, the next news is coming from China in which China has passed a very interesting rule which India also needs very much.
As you must be knowing that nowadays companies have started providing electric flush door handles in cars in the name of technology and futurism.
So China has given an order to ban these electric flush door handles. Yes, that means electric flush door handles will be completely banned in China by 2027.
For some time, multiple cases have been coming up in China in which cars crash. The power gets cut from the battery.
Due to which the electric door handles do not open and the passengers get trapped inside the car.
Furthermore, customers consider them unpractical, unreliable, and costly to repair if they break down. Because of these factors, China has ordered their complete ban.
Friends, what do you think? Should they be banned in India as well?
Tata Avinya – Tata’s Upcoming Premium Electric Car Series
So friends, our next news is coming from Tata Motors in which Tata Motors is going to launch Avinya soon.
By the way, let me tell you that Avinya will not be a particular car. It will basically be a series which will have more than one car whose code names are P1, P2, P3, P4 and P5.
Anyway, expectedly Tata Avinya can debut by the end of 2026 and its launch can also happen early next year.
Tata Avinya will be the flagship electric car of this brand and if you are thinking that it will come in the segment of XUV9 and B6 then no brother.
The expected price of this vehicle will start from 30-35 lakhs and can go up to 40-45 lakhs. This means that this vehicle will compete with EV cars like Hyundai Ioniq 5 and BYD Seal in India.
In Avinya, the company will offer all the kind of luxury that the most premium brands offer.
This means an absolute Range Rover style interior and exterior. But there will also be a lot of interesting things in Avinya.
This means that the Tata logo will also change. Basically, the DRLs of this vehicle will be in such a T shape on both the front and rear sides.
The same will also work as the Tata logo which is a very interesting and cool concept. So friends, let’s see whether this car will be successful in India, especially at this price point.
Mercedes V-Class Relaunch in India
So friends, our last news today is coming from Mercedes. Today, all the news is about very expensive cars.
There is very little about mass market cars. Anyway, Mercedes has confirmed the launch of its V Class in India and its launch is scheduled for March 2026.
In case you didn’t know, the V Class, which is their premium MPV van, was on sale in India until 2022, but then the company discontinued it.
But now the demand for these types of cars has increased again in India, like the Toyota Vellfire or Lexus LM, so to compete with them, the V Class is being launched again in India.
In the new V Class, we are expected to get a 2 L four cylinder diesel engine which will also have two stages of tune.
One with 163 horsepower and one with 237 horsepower. Meaning, these vehicles are not very fast. Because the focus is more on its interiors than on driving.
For which these vehicles are made. Meaning the interior will be completely premium.
Like massage function, ventilation, reclining seats and foot rest etc. will be available so that any person can travel comfortably in it.
As for its price, you will get it in India for Rs 1 to 1.5 crore, that too ex-showroom.
Conclusion
So friends, this was today’s latest car news update in which we talked in detail about the upcoming cars of Mercedes, Tata and Ferrari.
In the coming times, the automobile industry is going to become even more advanced and electric focused.
